Common questions
  • What are clubhouse hours? Deep Water Bay 07:00–21:45 daily. Emerald Bay 09:00–19:00 weekdays and 09:00–20:00 weekends and public holidays.
  • Is there parking? Deep Water Bay has no on-site parking; use metered public parking at the nearby beach. Emerald Bay has limited free member parking (display a Victoria Recreation Club pass). Guests must reserve weekend and holiday parking in advance.
  • How do I join? Apply through the membership office. A HK$135 application fee applies. Entrance fees start at HK$75,000 (Associate) and HK$45,000 (Sporting).
  • Can I bring guests? Yes. Sign them in and remain with them. Guest fees usually HK$60 adult / HK$30 child.
  • Are dogs allowed? No. Pets are not permitted on club premises.
  • How do I book a BBQ? Book in advance with the clubhouse. DWB HK$120 and EB HK$180, including charcoal, in three-hour slots (max 12 persons per table).
  • Who may use Emerald Bay as a community group? Eligible schools, subvented NGOs, uniformed groups, and recognised NSAs under HAD private recreational lease guidance. See Eligible Outside Body Access.
