As a founding member of the Hong Kong Sports Federation and Olympic Committee (HKSF&OC), the Club believes that every Club member and affiliate should abide by the Olympian spirit of sportsmanship.
Under Home Affairs Department guidance on private recreational leases, Victoria Recreation Club promotes sports facilities at Emerald Bay for use by eligible outside bodies—schools, NGOs, uniformed groups, and National Sports Associations. For general enquiries write to enquiry@vrc.com.hk.

Eligible outside bodies
Schools, NGOs, uniformed groups, and recognised NSAs may use Emerald Bay facilities under HAD private recreational lease guidance.
Community & PartnershipsTemporary members and guests
The Sporting Code of Conduct applies to every Sporting Section, including members who are not Victoria Recreation Club members affiliated with the Sections as temporary members or guests.
Application ProcessPaddle Team and open days
The team trains all year round and competes locally and internationally. Open days at Deep Water Bay introduce new talent to outrigger canoeing, free of charge.
Paddle TeamHong Kong paddlers
Victoria Recreation Club Race Series offers monthly races throughout the year to give paddlers in Hong Kong the opportunity to race, stretching their abilities and comfort zones, whilst having fun.
Race SeriesDeep Water Bay Regatta
All teams are welcome to join. Divisions include Open, Women, Mix, and Juniors. Running since 1999, it is a highly competitive 500m race on the south side of Hong Kong.
Dragon BoatLessons with Victoria Recreation Club trainers
Victoria Recreation Club is able to schedule lessons with our trainers. Private or small group outrigger canoe lessons are offered at Emerald Bay and Deep Water Bay.

Members and affiliates
- The Club enjoins its members and affiliates to set positive examples by embracing the highest ideals of sportsmanship: self-discipline, compassion, service, aspiration, and fairness.
- The Code applies to Sporting Section officers, players, coaches, captains, team managers, club committees and officeholders, parents, spectators, and users of social media.
- New members of a Sporting Section and temporary members should be given an equal opportunity to compete for seats or places on the same basis as long-established members, provided dues, if any, are current.
Coaching Code of Conduct
The Victoria Recreation Club is committed to the highest ideals of sport and expects all its coaches to honour that spirit, regardless of the particular sport they practice or Sporting Section to which they belong.
