Where Victoria Recreation Club races
Hong Kong Victoria Recreation Club Outrigger Team is comprised of enthusiastic and competitive athletes who love ocean sports. We paddle and race dragon boat and outrigger canoe. The team trains all year round, and competes locally and internationally.
Series standings for monthly small-craft racing are on Webscorer. Race updates and photos are on the Victoria Recreation Club Race Series Facebook page. For general enquiries write to enquiry@vrc.com.hk.

Wins on the Hong Kong circuit
Dan Fedoruk, an architect, became the team’s first coach, implementing a semi-professional (read agonizing) regimen. The team became the first non-local club to compete and win against local crews in hard-fought local races as well as the Hong Kong championships and Hong Kong International.
Since the beginning, the paddling section attracted serious paddlers to the club, and as Des said, the “results are history”. Those who join the renamed Victoria Recreation Club Paddling Section, and our Dragon Boat Team today are part of a huge legacy.
