What repeats at Victoria Recreation Club
The Victoria Recreation Club aims to offer members the premium services by holding a variety of events & classes. Standing programmes sit under Sports and News & Events: paddle training, the Race Series, dragon boat season, equipment lessons, and clubhouse socials.

Year-round paddle training
The Hong Kong Victoria Recreation Club Outrigger Team trains year-round and races dragon boat and outrigger canoe. Training is generally Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 AM and Saturday at 8:00 AM at Deep Water Bay, with sessions also at Emerald Bay.
Outrigger TeamMonthly small-craft races
Victoria Recreation Club Race Series offers monthly races so Hong Kong paddlers can race regularly. Events are singles or doubles covering surf ski, outrigger canoe, rowing, and stand-up paddle board. Races run from January to November and are based out of Deep Water Bay.
Race SeriesFestival season racing
During dragon boat season the Victoria Recreation Club paddle teams train and enter Hong Kong races, including the Victoria Recreation Club Deep Water Bay Regatta (running since 1999), Lamma 500, the Hong Kong China International Dragon Boat Festival, the Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Championships, and the Kellet Island Cup.
Dragon BoatLessons with club trainers
Kayaks, family canoe, and prone paddle boards need no certification. SUPs, surf ski, OC1, and board rowing do. Victoria Recreation Club is able to schedule lessons with our trainers. Do not go onto the water if above Force 3 (19 km/h) or if club staff say you cannot.

The natural stone clubhouse on Island Road, with waterfront access for paddling, swimming, and club events.
Deep Water BayEmerald Bay
The Sai Kung clubhouse on the waterfront, used for training, socials, and Events Emerald Bay listings.
Emerald BayBoat Storage
Rack space at both clubhouses for kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Apply through the Club forms.
