Victoria Recreation Club clubhouse
The Clubhouse in the early twentieth century, when members rowed, swam, and gathered on the harbour.
Read the historyIn 1849, on the shoreline of Hong Kong Harbour where the City Hall stands today, the original Victoria Recreation Clubhouse was established. Having been in operation in Canton since 1832 the Victoria Recreation Club is distinguished as the oldest sporting and recreation club in the territory.
Our mission is to be the premier ocean water sports club: raising the profile of paddling and oar sports, nurturing ocean awareness, supporting elite and community athletes, and sharing our passion with Hong Kong—including those who are financially disadvantaged or face physical or mental challenges.
Brand materials, section kit, and official photography are coordinated through the main office. For logo use or media requests, please contact the membership and marketing team at smm@vrc.com.hk.
